Manual tensioner and starter drag
Me and ol' 1Bad were talking the other day about noticing a hot engine start drag after putting in the manual cct. Anyone else notice this too?

Only thing that would cause the motor to turn over harder would be the CCT was adjusted to tight .. I had a 14 motor out of the bike swapping heads and it was hard to turn over .. We backed off the CCT and it turned over fine .. It didn't seem to be tight but i guess it was to tight ..

That was the first thing I tried, making sure I adjusted it right.

i'm a firm believer theres a reason to the CCT rattle at start-up ..and most these guys don't get their bikes hot enough to find any results of a manual CCT ..1 PASS EVERY 2 HRS DON'T COUNT as hot .. HEHE..

You win door #3. I am thinking going manual as the stocker is crapping at @35k. I just don't know if I want to dick with it or go with a Carpenter zx12 modded unit.
