The problem was the 3" drop was too low. I wish that I had a setting between the 1 1/2 that I have on there now and the 3. I don't have a clearance problem since I went bakc to 1 1/2.
But that plug was just as big as the stock one. My ground clearance on the plug wasnt as big a factor as my cornering clearance. I had never lowered a bike before, so I had no idea how much that would take off of the curves. Live and learn.
