Smog removal question

I bought block off plates for my upcoming dyno tune, Qusetion, the wire you disconnect from the assembly, do you just leave it unpluged? Ive also read there is concern for crank case ventalation after doing this..

Yeah those plugs dont matter, i put a crank breather filter from autozone, it leaks some other then that works fine

Why are you waiting to do it before you get your bike dyno'd? I didn't think it affected the a/f ratio.

I could be mistaken, I thought it did by pupming air into the exhaust to help burn off fuel in the exhaust and that gave false AFR readings to your tuner. Oh well, there still going on since I bought them and to free up the area for plug changes and what not.

Where do I install a pcv valve (if needed?)

you don't need no PCV valve ..and you are correct on the air being pulled thru the exhaust .. just put the plates on and your set ..

Dont go on the dyno without blocking them off or you'll be wasting your money and getting a very inaccurate AFR reading!
