went back to the track

Went to an 1/8th mile track up in Crossville, TN on Thursday night. Only mod I made was putting a strap on the front end. Bike still set up for touring complete with rear rack, handlebars, lowered pegs and Sgt seat.

I had not been on a track in close to a year. But I still managed to run 6.40s with a best pass of 6.42 @ 118. Not too bad for a rusty rider, foot shifting a sport-touring bike. Had a blast though.

Yeah, a little seat time helps when you are rusty. Was it hot up there?

yep..very hot. sweated quite a bit. Not sure of temps but 90s easy Had a blast though. Only managed 1.65s for 60' times. Rusty was not the word. lol
