brock header no tail pipe Am I losing power with just the header with a car exhaust tip that comes out near the front foot peg? Or do I need to get the whole exhaust to have the complete power his pipe has to offer?

There's no back pressure at all with those exhaust tips. Brock put a lot of time and effort in coming up with his system. Get a Brock's pipe in the back. That tail pipe ain't gonna cut it.

You're going to burn your valves if you run like that for long even if it made more power, which it probably doesn't. Not to mention it's way too loud to be near.

You won't lose any peak power, and you won't hurt the engine. These mufflers are not very restrictive as it is. There is also a no baffle map for the Brocks, if I recall. However, I recall Brock saying there was no change in power...just a lot more noise.
I ran my CT like that and it made 190 hp SAE on MR9....the a/f was still spot-on at mid-high rpm with the Brock's map. The low end had a few spikes and dips in the torque curve though, and I think that hurt my 330'.
And yes, it was loud:
In general, I think the bike will run a little smoother with the muffler/baffle installed....and that can be a plus. That's just my experience, and other people may have different ones. Anyway, hope this helps.

I don't believe it burns valves up. I had the boz bros moria back in 06 and it never burnt a valve.
