which best for me 46 OR 47s
is 3 years since i last built the motor , and not wanting to spend too much money at the moment just want to optomise the best what i have without losing any more bottom or mid range so thinking boring the throttle bodies to 46 MM OR 47
spec of motor so far
crank and rod assembly balanced with a little weight shaved off
j &e high compression pistons WITH light weight pins from carpenter racinhg
ported head
carpenter cams and valve assembly; with zx 12 tensioner
ti force full fronts , with akropovic hex shortened silencer
power commander, and ignition module, rev extend activated for another 500 REVS . AND motor does like a lot of ignition at top end
knife edged secondary shaft at full open position
crank case vent mod to ex recycle ; worth 3 HP
have a little over 210 hp rear wheel now , what kind of gains should i see by boring 46 AND 47 and will 47 hurt my mid range more than 46
also fitted to my 2006 model the later injectors, with more holes and finer spray, and saw an improvment in fuel consumption but fuel duty duration has been increased to almost 50 POINTS power commander in places : so wonder if it may be better to go back to the higher flowing injectors if i bore the throttle bodies

We haven't seen any negative impact from 47's on a stock motor. I thought we might lose a little response, but the bike runs great....street and track. I wouldn't hesitate to use the 47's.
Oldkawboy got about 6 or 7 hp on his stock bore bike with head work. You could PM him for more details.
By the same token, 46's are probably plenty for your application...Busa's make huge hp (250++) on stock 46's.
