16/43, 6 inch extention, 200 tire...Still Wheelie!?!?

I got a full muzzy, flies out, with an agressive tune with my PCIII. Throttle is quite twitchy....
I am at a 16/45 and can wheelie at will...LOVE IT!

If I extend the bike the 4-6 inches and put on a 16/43 ratio and my 200 metz....can I still wheelie or does that fun go away?

Are you at SWB currently? Your weight? Well, I say yes! I'm currently running 16/43, 6 inches, and 190-200lbs. Power wheelies is no problem! I have a 190 pilot power so my width is slighty more narrow, keep in mind when you extend it your tire's outer rib will probably hit the chain guard tab(note: this is only applicable if you still have stock swing arm). If it does hit, just take a dremmel and cut it off. You still will have 2 tabs to secure the chain guard.

200 tire doesn't hit. Will it wheelie on the street? I doubt it. Your going to have traction problems before it wheelies.
You might get the front tire to lift off the ground a little, but not "fun" squid wheelying.

Bicep- depending on what length you go back(chain link/sprocket really sets the tangibles), I believe you may still hit that tab. I read your post on a different thread and you stated that you are 265 lbs. Well I have raised my bike to a 10 o'clock position with my son on the back. I was 200lbs(at the time) and he was 150lbs... you do the math

newf14, you could sit back a little father. LOL

Why do you want to stretch it, and limit your fun?
You can make anything wheelie if you know how.
Make the shock hard to compress and leave the bike tall, will help you wheelie with extentions.
I saw a guy ride a nice wheelie on a goldwing.

yep...for the most part traction will be the issue.

Ok I will do the math for him. Let's use common sense. 150lbs sitting on the tail is not the same as one person sitting on the front weighing twice as much.

I'm 275 and stock wheelbase 16/48. My bike barely gets off the ground (1 ft maybe) on the street but I'm not dragging, Nothing happening in 3-4th gear - more twisties for me.

What kind of math is that? 265 does not equal 2x190 or 2x150, hell it doesn't even make sense if you add 190 and 150. Next, depending if he choses to extend 4 or 6 inches will also play a part. The mods he has done, the torque and HP his bike is making are all factors! Don't piss on my post as I was not even speaking to you! I was stating my opinion, period. Carry on...

I've seen a lotta busas before but never seen a 6'7 person look so small on one. I wish I had that room so my knees weren't jamming my elbows on my 14.

Ya because on the strip we go off a arm drop and go 3 wide with cars and bikes lol the pic of my 14 is on a unprepped street. Stock shock just set up really well and the right tire pressure and it will hook...

Wow! What drag strip you know bends around a corner with double yellow lines?

Apparently this is a remote street that they race at...hince the lack out pavement preparations and further points to the bike hooking. Also keep in mind the weather seems to be a bit chill which would further impede the traction. So many factors... Tire brand/series, RPMs, weight, launch position, tire pressure, etc...

I got a 5 inch extension and a 43 rear sprocket, I'm not sure what the front is. I'm also running a 190 rear. I've found that if I sit forward on the seat I can goose it at about 6k in first and it just spins the tire if it's cold. Now if I sit back a bit give my tire time to warm up, the front tire will lift an inch or two. However I am 6'3" 300lbs+. You're results may vary. I'm positive that if you clutch it up it'll come up as high as you please.

Use the motor to pull you out. Not the high rpm launch with low rpm around 1500 or so and got WOT and be easy on the clutch. You don't want to shock the tire into a spin.
