Stress Cracks,,,,,,, anyone else??
Hey Guys,
I had noticed about a year ago that on the upper fairing, above the right headlight that a slight deformity was noticeable in the plastic. It was very slight and being that the bike is Atomic Silver, that made it even less noticeable.
Well while cleaning the bike a couple of months ago, I was looking closely at that deformity and as it turned out, it's a stress crack. It totally sucks because the paint is basically perfect on the upper and it's not like it happened from any kind of impact with anything.
Has anyone else suffered the same sort of thing on their upper fairing?

I just crashed my 08 zx14, the upper fairing took a beating, and did not crack in that area.
I bet you can find a like new oem silver upper on ebay for a few hundred bucks if you keep an eye out.
