help and tips
tips or help, installing M14 M10 exhaust, should i buy new gaskets?? any trouble i might hav??? can i get map thru muzzy????
i still hav stock air filter and still debating on pulln flys 2008, got mixed signals on here about pulln flys on 2008
thks dudes any tips will help,, going try 2 install without removing plastic idk

Please get new gaskets, although you can probably get away with the smashed up ones in there, lol.
Remove the plastic. You need to remove the lower radiator standoff and install the longer one they supply. Get a BMC filter, the stock one is terrible.
I suggest you start without pulling the flies. That sounds like a little more than you might want to tackle right off. Call Muzzy's and they will have an adequate map for your bike.

I use the old ones ..Two zx14s and more than a few exhaust swaps and never installed new gaskets .. But i'm a cheap ass racer ..

I agree I have never put new exhaust gaskets in either. As far as pulling the flies, I dont think it makes near as much difference on the 08 and newer but even if it makes a little difference I think it is worth it for as little effort as it takes. I took them out for a friend of mine the other day. He offered me 50 bucks, I told him to wait and see how long it took me before he decided if he wanted to give me any money. It litterally took me 20 minutes start to finish. But I can count the number of times I have done it. At least 20. I think it took an hour the first time I did it.
