Fuel level gauge

Installed a external fuel pump and no longer have the internal pump.Here's my issue gas gauge no longer work's,no big deal there but I wonder if the miles left readout is still accurate?

YEAP EVERYTHING IS STILL WORKING .. JUST YOU GET A FLASHING LOW FUEL .. SORRY ON CAPS.. i had to fix mine because the 1st time you run low on fuel .. bad things happen

i put a 1k ohm resistor in line on the fuel low fuel sensor and mounted the sensor under the seat

i have an 06 model ..when my flashed nothing else is viewable or at least i never look .. mine stays on voltage ... but i can tell you what happens when you run it low and suck air on the launch ..

Nobody likes to carry more fuel up the strip than needed but I've always erred on the side of caution because I didn't know what would happen.
I take it that sucking air wrecks more than just the launch!!!

yes it does ..it put a hole in 1 piston and damage the other 3 TURBO BIKE .. the problem was the track didn't have any race gas .. caused i'd put my 2 gallons in it .. but i wanted to make that 1 more pass after the low fuel warning had been on for 1 pass already ..
