modify fuel line to monitor fuel pressure

has anyone attempted to modify the factory fuel line to monitor fuel pressure? I'm trouble shooting and fueling issue and would like to see if this is possible.

If it only temp test just put a T on the end and add 3-4 inches of line to reconnect.

Pics didn't really turn out. I just tee'd the line at the back of the motor. Then I simply ran an 1/8" fuel line to my fuel pressure gauge mounted near my triple clamps.
