quote: Taking mine in to have it tuned tomorrow, right now it has a 7psi e85 map in it i got from a member here.
I have a 7psi spring in the waste gate with 3 shims, suppose to give me around 8psi.
Will have the afr set around 11.8 no boost and 11.5 on boost.
Pulling 4 degrees timing at 5psi and up.
Not so good news, had the bike tuned yesterday and have a boost leak somewhere, could only get 5psi out of it.
Also my blow off valve is not opening off boost,i have the 10" vacuum spring in it. I'm thinking its still to stiff, but the next step down is 0-7" spring?
At 5psi it was making 244hp and 140 tq.
Today going to make up something to pressure test the air box, check header bolts, collector, etc.
Funny thing is last year on the street i know i watched the boost gauge go over 7psi,
so it must be something i fucked with over winter.

The biggest boost leak I had was up at the steering neck, there is a large hole that needs to be stopped up on the bottom side of the frame where the neck meets it. Seems like there were a few under the tank on the back of the frame and the 2 sccrew holes for the foreman grills. The one under the neck was the worst. Oh and I ended up having a lot of trouble sealing around the throttlebodies

Well hopefully i can find out by pressure checking it and spraying those areas with soapy water. All of these areas have been sealed, but maybe the throttle body areas need a second look.

For the BOV, make sure your signal is after the throttle plates. There are vacuum ports on the throttle bodies, but you have to drill them out a little. Really easy to do.

Blow off valve is connected to port after throttle bodies, with a gauge hooked up to it,it reads between 8-10. thinking of linking up more than one port so signal is more steady.

Where's info on this Velocity kit? I've heard rumors of them making a zx14 kit, but I've never actually seen one, or heard confirmation that they made one.

They got bought by RPM cycle? I think they made all the piping for the kits anyway.
