Tornado at work
Hit today. Kind of scary as I shot the photot with my phone camera. Tore up the building and blew the roll up doors in. totaled a 4 story part of the plant.
Tornado heading our way
some tree damage. near parking lot and training center

Definitely scary to see something like that headed your way. Just read where it said there were 200 lives lost in the south from the storm.

I also read last week when the storm went through either North or South Carolina where a guy had his infant nephew he was watching sucked right out of his arms during a tornado when he was trying to take shelter. Luckily somehow they found him not far from there under some debris and he was alright with only bumps and bruises.

One came thru my neighborhood (Bridgeton, MO) last Friday and tore up a bunch of stuff... While the family and I took cover in the basement it felt like two top fuel dragsters were going down my street. We were without power for days. Our Airport was damaged pretty bad and had to shut down. It has completely changed the whole look of our area. Homes and buildings no longer sit alongside the highway. When you hear the sirens..... Take it seriously

This weather has been bad this yr. it won't get warm enough here to storm yet.

98 degrees on Tuesday a cool front came in Wednesday .. now it only 90 degrees

It touched down near the area where I grew up. It completely wiped out a strech of the town. Over a 130 killed just in my home town. I rode through yesterday and the main intersection looks like a bomb went off. It is completely gone. it will be a long time to rebuild. Very sad. the Plant is shut down till Monday.

no it won't .. as bad as this gonna sound ..that is job creation and contractors will be stepping on each other to get the work ..
hurricane Ike rip a bigger path thru galveston houston area and in few days it was up and running .. with in a month it was hard to tell it ever happen ..

Yea. You are right. They are still finding bodies. A friend of mine tha rides with us lost his wife and all he owns. His kids were hurt also but are going to be fine. He said he put motorcycle helments on them. It ripped his house from it's foudation. It was a really bad tornado that did a lot of damage. Sad.

What a bad time for a lot of people. Pray for the people that lost family and friends. Hope they can find a way to deal with their loss.
This just shows you how fragile life is.
