BMW vs kawasaki Richard gadson ran the BMW s1000 stock and went a best of 9.33 (2 runs, first wheelied)
First pass on the new zx10 Richard ran a 9.20!!!
Does that clarify anything?

Any body that believes they can actually buy either one and run within 2/10s of these times is delirious.Gadson had a 35 mph back half on this "stock" ZX10

Ya nad a busa and 14 will run 9.40's with little mods and average rider. that's what I don't get these bmws and zx 10s are not doing anything special IMO. sure the mph is high but find it hard to think it's stock with just ecu flash

Well the Video Ricky posted showed his new stone stock zx10 ran high 9s NOT low 9s .. If he ran 9.20s it was modded ... What mods did the Beemer have ?

I'm Sorry at this point the 1/4 mile MPH is the only thing good i see about the new zx10 ...The MPH is killer but the ETs seems to be lacking ... Case in point , my 06 zx14 with just a pipe , lowered and a strap, flys in place ran 9.18 and that was on pump gas .. My 09 has run 9.11 on pump gas with just a pipe and tune , lowered and strapped .. Granted my MPH is much lower than Rickys but again ET wins races .. I'll bet money Ricky could jump on my 09 zx14 and run a tenth Quicker than my 9.11 and most likely put down more MPH than i did .. What does that say about the new zx10 ?

9.20@153 mph I believe was the mph. They were running this as I was loading up getting ready to come home. All I could see was his head go by and the scoreboard.
That was Richard riding, not Ricky.

Rickey rides a zx-14 in supersport..... runs about the same thing you ran. What's stoping you from going any faster....?

But the front half wasn't there, so the back half would look stronger. Rickey's 60' is 1.60 a full tenth slower then his SS 14, and his 330' is slow in comparison, thats why his 1/8th mile mph is "only " 126-127, and that is why his back half is 34mph instead of 30.
My turbo bike had a 41mph back half when I had issuess from the tree to past the 330.
Put an arm on that ZX10 and I bet the numbers add up correctly. C'mon guys, a pro rider going 1.6 short times? Obviously that bike is not getting full throttle till the front end stays planted.

One thing to note in the video is the location.....Arizona....higher altitude/lower barometric pressure = slower ET's than most other tracks that are closer to sea level with a higher pressure...just saying.

LOL now that's lame,sounds like the wind came up everytime the new 10 ran a pass,and it died down when the BM ran according to Brock .Smokin a tip, dont believe everyting people tell you,why dont you ask RG to run the new 10 against your 14 seing you are comparing your bike and times against his times, would like to see how far you beat him, just putting it out there.

Guys I don't want to piss anybody off or sound retarded, It just seemed funny that the zx10 only had the tail wind, give the bike a chance to improve,the BM has been around for a while so drag racers know all the positives for the strip,the new 10 needs time,after all we ride green don't we.Nobody ran their fastest time's on their 14's the first time out,you had to see what works for you and the bike,that's the point I am trying to make.

SO your comparing the BMW with engine mods to the the new zx10 ? a little more dialing in and tuning time and the KAW is going to be faster yet
