R.I.P. Kenny Poppell

we lost a great drag racer, and a great guy yesterday in a motorcycle accident.
Kenny Poppell, may you rest in peace brother.

Sorry to hear that. My deepest condolences to his family.

Any specifics on the accident? Street or track?

He leaves a young wife, family members and a host of friends.

Kenny proved himself at the track. I don't believe he was much into the street racing scene.

Wow! Sad news. RIP Kenny! So young at just turning 29.

Back in 2006-7 when I was on myspace he was on my friend list and we typed a few sentences to each other before. I remember seeing some of his videos on his old zookie and one night race I think where his opponent got pissed that he lost and was trying to fight with Kenny. He was a great racer from what I gathered of him. RIP.

Man this is the first I've heard of this, really sucks. I'm gonna miss seeing him at Valdosta. He was always all smiles and had a positive attitude. He was really down to earth and humble and he'd take time out to help anybody at the track. The track ain't gonna be the same without him R.I.P.
