Why would the width of the back tire have anything to do with what type of clutch?
Yes it will work. If it works for our bikes that are Street driven, and bikes that are track only, what difference would the tire make, besides your not going to get traction?

I'm asking because I'm kinda shock that my clutch gave out with less then 8000 miles. I know that I cannot get the "traction" but I was wondering if the weight of the setup cause my cluth to burn out and what is the best replacement for a stock engine bike outside of a pipe and power commander.

That 300 has alot of Rotating weight and i would think would be harder on a oem clutch pack wit stock springs, especially doing 5th n 6tth gear pin the throttle to pass on the highway, alot of abuse!, I would go right back wit the oem fibers n steels n just use heavier springs, n wit ur outside drive ur not losing as much as having a jackshaft as far as hp to the back wheel. Shoot for the heavier springs wit stock pack in i think you'll be happy

Time for me to replace the clutch as well. I remember in a thread somewhere, maybe in Shane's build thread, there was a clutch tool (hub holder) that looked like a clutch steel with an red handle. I've trying doing internet searches and have come up empty handed. Can someone post a link to where I may purchase this tool.

Is there really any difference between the factory brand drag clutch on Schnitz Racing at $191 vs the Cycle Concepts "drag pak" clutch for the same price?

How about a drag pack with heavier springs?
