Clutch time?

Winter broke for a few hours here in Washington last night, a quick ride and a few hard launches revealed a kind of moan from the clutch area. I have an 08 with about 20K of Hard street riding and 100 or so hard passes at the Angleton TX 1/8th mile. Clutch still feels fine under "normal conditions". Ive searched around 14.com on this topic, but still have questions. This is my first clutch job on a motorcycle.

Good brands, is OEM clutch a brand or a Kaw part? Barnett kits are all over ebay..
Tool list? I read to use an impact gun and not to use one on the clutch.
I want a "do it all" clutch for a stock motored, stock length bike.
Should I be buying a billet clutch basket?
Clutch stack height?
Is the clutch cover gasket reuseable?

Cycle Concepts ( Phone #1-803-285-8093) "drag pak" is what I would replace it with. They have the best price, and last longer than OEM. The owner will tell you how to install your new clutch pack if you ask.

ok it's too much is what your saying. ... is it too much for 280hp? what would be the right setup to go with? i call the cycle concept and the guy who picked up the phone said that they will not tell you which setup to go with, that i have to know what i want. if i understood which works better then i could have told him but i don't...

Just a standard stack height would be good for you. (2.135-2.150 stack ht) Stack height is extremely critical with certain lockup clutch set-ups, so these have a certain measurement they actually need to be. If you really have 280hp then you really should have a single stage lockup imo.

The Cycle Logic is excellent for street use as I have one myself and have ridden with it since 09. Just bought an MTC multistage to try out.
With the power you have the clutches will live a lot longer too. BTW, the Muzzy one is a Cycle Logic.

I had a Barnett Kelvar with an xtra plate in a old 83 GS1100E.I hated it.It would release real close to the bar.Couldn't bang second, allways missing shifts.

The bike was built to ride. I'm asking this question because I blew my clutch out last night on a ride. And as for as fast! I have the OSD setup..I still can handle anyone that runs up on me
