gearing with multistage
I've just installed a multi stage in my bike. it is a nitrous bike, but I do run it on motor most of the time. what gear combo would be a good start? combined weight is about 740-760lb current gear is 16/42 busa guys are telling me to go back to 17/41

I would stay where you are for now. I ran the Cycle Logic and did not need to change my gearing at all when I switched to it. Which multistage?

Just curious why would a lockup/multistage require a change of gearing?
Were there other mods done as well?

as a good rule of thumb, if the busa guys are making suggestions to you they're baiting you lol.

well I was tuning my Gen II to not be too aggressive off the line.
very careless operator error cost me this motor
