Diablo Corsas

Just a quick question about some tires. Anyone have any experience with Pirelli Corsas (OEMstyle) on the 14.
I have a chance to get two rears and one front for about $283 with only $15 mounting charges which should get me through the summer pretty well. So I'm curious how they will measure up to the big ZX.

your bike will evaporate all brands! Try them all I personally wouldn't get 2 rears and save some coin. $15 on the second dismount/ mount too? Are they at a local shop? check the date codes before you buy IMO

If that price is for new tires, I'd go for it - like dc said, these bikes eat rear tires almost like they eat fuel But I havent had much experience with these - I'm currently running Dunlop Roadsmart 2ct's and they're holding up better than the standard compound tires.....imo.
I had a set of Bridgestone BT002R's that were shot after 4k miles and 1 trackday, so never again - but if you predominantly streetride and dont drag/trackride your bike much at all you'll dig the dual-compound tires for their longevity alone

I ran PP's forever until I found Roadsmarts and they stick to the corners and road just the same with LONGER mileage. All hail roadsmarts!!

Haha - yeah i like 'em too, havent tried heatin' 'em up and really digging deep on turns but hope to get some laps on 'em this year at MidOhio, or maybe even Nelson in KY - I doubt they'll "perform" like the Battlax race compounds since they're designed more for street and touring, but I want to try them out anyway

Good tire but wont last long . I tried them good traction but only got just over 4K . Super corsa 03 harder rated got over 6K with just as good of traction. Think they got scimpy on the diablos but worth it for that price if new.

Um, I personally wouldn't use them as a TRACK tire Jason, but let me know how they do, cool?

I wouldn't use them if I didn't already have a fresh set on the bike - and I don't trackride it enough to justify a spare set of wheels / tires to swap out before heading there.........but so far, I'm impressed with how stable they are in a kneedrag, and don't spin much on exit power -- but like I said, I haven't really "pushed" them hard on the streets -- I'm not comfy riding too hard on the backroads since it's not a prepped surface........but I love to have a little pile on the sides of my bikes tires just for table talk

I haven't heard anyone speak highly of Dunlop tires in a long time and haven't used them for long time too. But I will give them a try if I get an opportunity. I'm going to buy these Pirrelis and see where they get me. As I said before I do a lot of traveling and commuter battle. If I was worried about twisties (we really don't have any where I am) I would have bought a 600 (I still might). I'd like to find something that is reliable and consistant. Up until this last set I was a die hard Pilot Power guy but I don't think they can handle what I do on this bike.

I ran my 2nd set of dunlop roadsmarts this last season ( I hate winter) and still have some tread left and can run to the edge whenever neccessary. For the type of riding I do, they work well. I'd like to use a stickier tire for a little more confidence but im not wanting to run out of tire before my 6K summer.
