Jeez these threads get so off base! LOL. Powershifting must be an acquired art. I have mis-shift issues when I try it. When I use the clutch I never miss a shift. I have a lock-up clutch as well. Maybe that has something to do with it.

What do ya guys think?

Definitely takes practice! At the strip it's the only way to shift unless you have an air shifter.

My LU is a Cycle Logic Stage 1 for bikes up to 300 hp. You can adjust it, but from what I understand, CL set it up for me based on the HP and parameters of the bike that I gave him. I love it and I have seen a 5 mph increase at the strip.

Hmm. You wouldn't think a clutch would affect speed shifting cause you don't use the clutch to shift.
Unless the lock up somehow causes the tranny not to shift unless you use the clutch.
Have you contacted Cycle Logic about this?

Maybe the LU clutch doesnt affect it. I just seem to mis-shift when I try and power shift, but never, literally never mis-shift when I just slightly pull the lever. I probably should practice more on power shifting.

Power shifting would be better if you are used to shifting with the clutch. Then all you do is keep the throttle open and use the clutch to shift.

Not sure what intellectually disabled Lee is saying here. Up Speed shifting is basic to me gas it let off a little up shift gas it more.
