Seems like a good deal, but not as cheap as SB Customs. That being said, I've contacted the guy at evil and he is nice and quick to respond. The same can't be said about Adams from my experience.....

Every time i see Coby at a race he always makes time to talk to me, and every time i call the shop Garron and Coby always take care of me and my questions. Thumbs up to adams, and the Adams swing arm is top notch!
SB customs on the other hand, never ever again. it was just a headache.

If you don't mind, what was the matter with SB Customs? Just curious, a new arm will be on my list next winter, and I wan't to know all my options and if I need to cross some off.

I am not sure what these Evil arms cost, but a stock extended braced arm is very close to the same weight for a 3-9" setup...at least compared to the Adams. Also should be much stronger. Usually the stock braced arms are several hundred cheaper. I had mine done by Spencer Cycles.
It's just an alternative. I also tried an Adams arm, and it was very nice....but at 3-9" I would either use extensions or get the stock arm modified. Spencer Cycles can also do a 9-12" stock braced arm as well, which should be within a pound or two of an unbraced Adams. Of course, for the grudge bike "look" nothing beats a chromoly arm.

I'm not too worried about "the look" per se, and now that you mention it I remember in your thread that the two weight close to the same. But I just like to look at all the available options. I tend to over-analyze things...

Shane what was your specs that you sent in to Spencer's I would like to go that route as well. I am 6'2" 235 suited bike sitting at 16/43, BSMG, BMC AF, SH, Brock LL, PCV. I have looked all through your build page and I could not find the specs anywhere. I will be taking my bike down to Smither's in KC later this month to have the bike mapped bike has been running a bit rich and I feel as though I am not getting enough gear on top . Any help would be appreciated.

Care to expand on that statement about Sb customs at all? I'm buying an arm very soon and I'm curious about your experience.
As for Adams, I've contacted them on several occasions via pm, email, and phone messages. The Only reaponse I ever got back was via pm after over a week which didn't answer any questions, give any quotes (which I asked for). His message was "call the shop." I respect what they do for the zx14, and that's why I keep trying to give them my business, but there are a lot of other shops that are more then happy to earn my business.

When calling Adams ask for Dale. Ask him the question. He may not know the answer but he is reliable and will follow through and get the info. from Coby or Garron or put them on the phone. If no one answers, just leave a simple message, " Dale this is 'your name' plz give me a call back at 'your number' today. I look forward to to hearing from you, thanks." Do not leave the question on the vioce mail. This is the key to unlocking the Adams Performance customer service code. Keep in mind there are somethings they just will not tell you over the phone. These guys are the best known tuners when it come to zx14 and spray. The problem is, they know they are. quote:

but you won't like their warranty .. case in point i purchased 1 and got it .had to custom it to installed it . everything great after i drill collar to get bearings to fit into collar .. they powder coated inside of pivit collar . put tire on .. tighten adjustment bolts and break the adjustment bolt off the 3 hole adjuster's that i paid extra for as an up grade while BACKING A THE NUT OFF . Reason they drilled a hole in the bolt an installed a roll pin to keep the stud from backing out when backing the self locking nut off . then they wanted me to take pictures ..send them pics then send part and wait until they sent me the replacement .. i don't like having my bike down for 2 weeks while a parts is changed out ..i think its bullshitt .. so i ended up having to fix it myself ..so if you guys think them extension adjustment bolts are cheap crap and bend easy .. wait till you by these with holes and roll pins installed in them .. but as far as the arm itself with under bracing great stuff for the price ..

Ya 600 starting than add 50 for the 3 hole adjuster, 25 for shipping, 100 for bearings, 50 for chain guard and 45 for bottle bracket and so on. I did it all and it sucked but I got what I wanted. If I were to do it over again I might have called up Adams and got one of there's

and 45 for bottle bracket and so on.
speaking of the bottle bracket mounting spot .. can a bottle even be used without hitting the fuel pump on the bottom of gas tank
