Still DSLR Shopping
still waiting to buy a camera, watched lots of reviews, I'm pretty sure I will buy the Nikon D7000 body if anyone can get them, all sold out,

i've got the 5dii ... no matter which way you go, you're in for a world of cash hemorrhaging cuz the money is in the glass, not the body... kinda like buying an inkjet printer... cept the cartridges are lenses..

My wife and I drove from Washington to surprise Arizona for Christmas. We got some great pics of mt Shasta, the desert, and a couple other things with her cannon 7d. I'll post up some pics.

I've got the FX D700 which is a superb camera, I was considering the D7000 before it's launch but decided to go full-frame and I made the right choice. Video is not something I need and the low noise, high dynamic range quality of the D700 is beyond reproach, as is the build quality.
Like Fish says, the lenses are expensive. Almost as much as the camera body for decent Pro glass but if you stick with the system, Nikon FX in my case, you will keep the lenses if you upgrade the body. So you only buy them once and you buy the best.

only advise I get here from the top photographers in the World is bias. its like hearing it aint the bike its the rider. Sorry if my post upset you BadGuy, I know you get set off real easy and your concerned with the big race at HMP with all the riders gunning for you.

What is your intended purpose for this camera? I have only seen you post like 3 photos here, and of shitty quality.
This is a situation (as with bikes), where the performance is only as good as the operator...is photography your 2nd hobby??
