60fts were consistantly horrible. 1.44-1.49. I just wasn't feeling it today.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Will be nice to see the vids when you are on your game. Keep at it.
Also it would be great to see some data logger info and video from all of the guys here who think they are pinning the throttle on the hit. I bet that "some" of them do pin it.....

Shane, I'm not trying to start a fight, just noticed Dusty is wot a little late, with video it can help when you "think" you are pinning it.

wee
I wasn't really directing my comment towards you, Wee. I'm sure you are pinning it pretty quickly. But I think we all know guys at the track who swear they are pinning it, but you need a magnifying glass to see their throttle hand move!
I would like to see some video from the fastest guys here, because it would really put into perspective what "pinning" the throttle means. I had some vids from about two years ago, on Racheal's GSXR where I was practicing the same thing. As you say, video can really help improve skills.
Personally, I still find it can be a challenge to pin it on the hit at times. My throttle hand doesn't always agree with what I want it to do. And then it seems like when I get more aggressive on the throttle, I sometimes stick the clutch harder too, automatically...it's like the two hands are linked.

Dusty said he wasn't having a good day, I know when I'm in the groove I can whack the throttle wide open as soon as I move, some days I catch myself pinning at the 60ft. That's why I also say to any level rider, watch video, that will make you go faster.

I bought a GoPro Hero cam a while ago, I need to do the same thing and get analyzed. I can't tell where I am going wrong, but since I am in Maryland now, have to wait until spring.
And thanks for posting up this video, always good to say race footage, at least I can live vicariously through everyone else still racing.

I would love to see a video of the guys that think they pin it 100% right off of the line. I thought I did too and once I hooked up my spray to a WO'T switch I was way off. Thinking you do and doing it are two different things. I can post videos where it looks like I do but I was'nt. There is a small difference between 98% and 100%. My 6 year old daughter could pin the throttle but its how you let the clutch out that gets you where you need to be. ____________

Yeah, I think that I pin the throttle, but could be off. But I think my problem is the clutch hand. I will post up some video this spring for sure.

Goodtimes. It was a pleasure meeting Eclipse636 . Other than me hitting my quickest 60ft the rest of my times were down . I guess the DA and the humidity from the rain must have played a role in it . When are you planning on heading out there again ?
