Progressive Suspension

Anybody have any experiece with their lowering shock and lowering spring kit for the forks? I have been wanting to lower the bike a little and with the special they're offering until the new year, was considering pulling the trigger. Their kit would lower the bike an inch, which is right where I'd like it to be. More $$$ than lowering links, etc,,but is it worth it? Any thoughts would be appreciated...thanks.

just bought the kit. great looking shock but it may not work for me. it does not have a bound adjustment just a rebound and I want it for drag racing. for a streetbike it should be fine .

If you want the bike lowered 1" just lower the front by sliding the forks up 1" and pick up a set of used lowering links for less than $50 in the classifieds. All done for less than $50!

What the fuck is a "bound" adjustment? Does it keep it tied up for kinky sex. maybe keeps it from escaping at night? WTF?

My knowledge of that kit is that is is pretty simple to install. If I am remembering right it installs with the forks on the bike. My only concern would be that you would still have full suspension travel which could be a problem for drag racing. You would smash the oil pan and fender etc... I lowered mine with blocks and it limited suspension travel by length of the block.

Progressive suspension has a good reputation here in So Cal for great quality springs and shocks for street use . Dont think they are known for drag racing set up .
