Read this email I just got!

Well I sent an email on a 09 zx 14 for sale close to me and this is the response I just got! LOL

Hey Brent it has a GPR steering stabilizer, Muzzy M10 4into1 exhaust, power commander3,billet sliders and handlebar weights, geared down to get rid of the highway gear
Smoked headlights and taillights,k&N induction and air filter, the secondary's have been removed for better throttle response, it has dyno of 219RWHP can be moved up if you run race gas to around 230+ it also has red halo rings around the head lights. The bike has around 6000 miles on it. I can send more pics if u like or if you would like to come see it in person definitely no disappointments the bike is very clean and very fast!

Must have forgot to list motor mods. I'm having no luck finding a bike right now even if this one was clean I would have a hard time dealing with someone in a fantasy land.

Are you sure its not a Busa? I mean all the guys I have met lately claim that kind of HP on a Busa. Right Dusty? Remember that old dude in Valdosta claiming 240HP? Loser!!!!!

LOL, in fact I really like the Busa! I just can't stand the stigma behind it! I hear all the time that its faster than the zx14 but the fact is that both bikes are equally mathched IMO. It all depends on the rider.

I HAD A BIKE SHOP IN ARKANSAS DO THE DYNO AND HE CREATED THAT TUNE FOR ME,ALSO IT HAS HEAD PORTING, BIG CAMS,(I BELIEVE THEY ARE CARPENTER)NEW VALVE SPRINGS AND RETAINERS,CAM CHAIN ADJUSTER BECAUSE THEY ARE KNOWN FOR MAKING NOISE NOT SURE WHATS UP WITH DYNO #'S BUT I HAD RADICAL CYCLE DYNO IT BEFORE THE MODS EXCEPT EXHAUST AND IT DYNO AT 181 STOCK I DO STILL HAVE THAT TUNE AND OTHERS ON MY COMPUTER

So, look...if it made 181 stock it is obviously a very, very happy dyno. The bike might even have the motor work he says...just subtract 20 hp and yeah, 200 hp sounds about right.

Don't assume this guy even knows the figure is high...some people really have no clue other than what the shop tells them...

Ask for receipts...and see if you can talk to the shop that did the motor work (assuming he has receipts, of course).

My genII is 7mph faster than my old 06 14, maybe my 14 was a turd but it did dyno 163 with a pipe and pcIII so who knows i might have gotten a dud, ether way i still like my 14 better than the genII

your gen 2 should not be 7 mph faster then your 14 was if both bikes where set up the same and you did not lose a bunch of weight. My first 14 would run 152 like clock work and my gen 2 busa ran 151 to 152 as well, but my second 14 never ran more then 149 and I was 25 lbs lighter. On the first 14 I had the street meg on the second I had the gen 3 can. that was the only difference.

i had the M14 on the 14 and a Tsukigi on the GenII only other difference was the 14 was at 63" and the booza is SWB, im not sure if the chain would kill the mph that much

oh the booza was on u4 and the 14 was on mr9 neither were tuned for the fuel, the booza doesnt even have anything on the bike to tune it i just put the pipe on and went, the 14 was tuned on the dyno

ya it had about 10k on the clock it lived a VERY hard life the genII has right at 3k now. i still havent gone as quick as the 14 has tho even with the MPH its kinds weird the 60' times are close and the 1/8 is close but the ET is still lacking even with the mega MPH the booza has over the 14 so who knows.

It takes 20 hp or more to make a 7 mph difference in the 1/4.

You just said your 14 was tired, so that is probably part of it.
