Dear Fat-Ass Idiot,

Do you dispute the big-end #?

Or the 1/8th mph?

Or the explanation of the shift point and 1/8th timers? Don't forget, other bikes were running that day...with expected mph results.

Please elaborate, you glucose-huffing fool. Thanks.

Shane

yeah i dispute your mph along with the other idiot doing 161mph on a stock bike .. i guess if i went to that track i'd run 200mph 1/4 miles ..

Sorry guys i miss placed a decimal point . MOV ,0319 = 35inchs

Difference of 66ft to 64ft is +4.56mph

[ +.0311 ] - .0211 reaction .0522
1.5562 60ft 1.4545 [ + .706 ]
5.9074 1/8 5.7798 [ + .1982 ]
127.73 mph 123.52
7.5765 1000 7.5200[ + .0254 = 5.64ft ahead]
9.0305 1/4 9.0133

153.27 mph 155.60

MOV .0139 + 35in

Best guess is he jumped over lights with wheel but tripped with body .
Wheels is about 2ft + about 4.56mph to up speed to 157.83 which is needed to catch up from - 5.64ft at 1000ft to plus 3ft at 1320ft. A total of 8.64ft

31 mph is believable

How about her 39 mph (on about the same big-end mph)? Can't beleive it, right? Check out gearing, tire circumference, and shift points...and look at where the shift on 17/46 gearing takes place. That is what I believe is causing the inconsistent 1/8th mph numbers...as I have also seen.

I ran this track once this year and the DA was around 200ft, and my back halfs were around 30-32mph and I am foot shifting, 16/43 and I am about 175 suited, but the weight of the bike is pretty close to stock. I can believe that kind of mph with the -700 DA.

I say that because I was at the Mopar Nationals a few weeks ago and the DA was -1200 and the mph some of those cars were insane, just didn't seem right compared to the times they were running.

She tripped the big-end lights with her bodywork?? Do you know how timing lights work??I guess everyone else was unlucky with their wheels and the lights...all day.

You guys are hilarious...I already stated why the 1/8th timers are probably off. I have run a 34 mph backhalf and a typical 26 mph back half...on the same big-end mph...depending on where I shifted. I have video to prove it.

Pat, considering your 152 best...do you think Racheal can run 158 on pump, with BST's, big throttle bodies, and weighing 50 lbs under you, at -700 DA? I have run 152 on my bike in 2500' of air, on MR9, at 220 suited, btw.

Shane

Sure its possible to see 158, the larger TB's are creating more HP, light weight rider, BST's and good air, sure thing its possible.

Just hard to see that MPH with the 220 rider.

Please read my above explanation of the low/fluctuating 1/8th mph numbers, and view the slips carefully. Please carefully view the 126/157 slip.

But, it is no wonder you can't beat a stock motor bike with your turbo, lol.

No...Crotchrocket ran 9.3x on a SWB 14...on pump, footshifting, at 151 mph. I think he is about 200 lbs suited. That would make his setup around 70 lbs heavier than Racheal's, and without the big TB's, dyno tested mapping/hp, nor the BST's.

All I will say is I'm sick and tired of getting kawaskis and suzukis poorly running bikes shipped to Iowa. none of ours around here are worth a crap. next bike I get I'm brining in from out of state maybe that will help. how many prostreet bikes back half like this. Shane somethings wrong with your 1/8th to 1/4 mph and I don't think it has anything to do with shifting. my buddy gets 4 tickets out of ten with stupid back halfs like that and we have yet to figure out why. one run he goes 126 to 127 and 157 and then out of the blue he goes 121 and 158. he throws those passes out as he knows hes not back halfing like that. his 1/4 mph and et are right just not the 1/8th mph. 1/8th et is right as well and if he truly lost 6 to 7 mph in the 1/8th how much slower do you think the time would be. that's like a 30 to 40 shot lost.

Actually at San Antonio raceway my motor cycle and nobody elses picks up 6 mph in the right hand lane, same eighth mile mph only at the quarter.Move over to the other lane nad it goes right back were it should be.I went consistent 151 in the left and 157 in the right.Nobody else did this.It happens.I am just telling you it takes an enormous amount of horsepower to back half over 30mph

220lb rider is what I am questioning as well. The fact that he lives next to Brocks shop helps but does'nt Brocks BMW with BST run the same MPH with Keith Dennis on it? So, if living close to Brocks and the BSTs is what makes this bike MPH so well I want to see Brocks new write up on the 14 with his wheels and all. If this bike can run 161 MPH with a 220 lb rider it should go 166-167 with my skinny butt on it.

Who fuckin' cares? If the ET is right, it doesn't matter...right?

I think my "shift point" theory (with testing to back it up) holds more water than the "no theory" theory.
