5.58 in the 1/8 mile :)

Had my first ever 5.50 pass on 87 pump gas tonight .. 5.58 @ 125.36 ..
We had an all Bike Night at our local 1/4 mile track tonight .. Temps in the mid to high 70s , 54% humidity , DA 900 and change ... Not the best air but pretty damn good for FL this time of the year ..

Best run of the night
1.35 60 foot
3.63 330
5.58 @ 125.36 1/8 mile
7.29 @ 1000 feet
8.76 @ 156.76 1/4 mile

In the passed i have run 5.60 flat in good air but never busted into 5.50 on motor on pump gas ... We have another Bike Night coming up in late Dec and the air will even be better ..

About 3 weeks ago .. Since then i have trying to get the gearing right ..Started off with 17/41 but it was bogging .. Switched to 16/41 and that helped but it still has a small bog .Then i switched to 16/42 but still has a bit of a bog.. I'm thinking a 16/43 might be just right ..

Very good!

Now on to the quest for the holy grail of a 1.2x 60.

Will you snatch it away as Wheelie reaches for it?

Oh, the suspense!

1.20's are nearly impossible on a stock motored bike.

i wouldnt say that. maybe stock clutch bike, but a stock motor 14 could pull 1.20s with the right clutch set up i believe

Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 500 HP Turbo bikes 60' low 1.300-1.320 and the NOS Pro Street bikes 60' 1.280-1.300s with sliders. They have PERFECT clutch setups and a shit load of HP. So my comment of NEARLY impossible on a stock motor still stands. Please note the word nearly.
