bst wheels and head shake

Is anyone using the bst carbon wheels for the street?Im looking at buying a set of these wheels as of now but I need more info before spending that kinda cash. How long will they last on the street? does the carbon lose its strength after some years? And what is the affect on head shake in the twistys and hard street use? If head shake is a problem then I would consider a bst rear wheel and an aluminum front wheel. thanks

I don't get what your asking. Just because it's carbon fiber dosent mean it will make the front end have headshake. If anything it would do it because the front end is lighter, which every wheel is going to do (isn't that the point of getting aftermarket wheels?)
those wheels will be fine.

No issues with headshake. They will make the bike steer much more quickly.

Aside from that, a steering damper is a good idea for any aggressvie riding.

My son has a set on his 14 and I rode it thru the Gap and it was fantastic!

It may not turn in as quick as his ZX10R did.........but it's not far behind. I loved the feeling, my 14 felt like the front tire had 10 pounds of air when I rode it back through.

Get those and a stabilizer (no matter which wheels you run) and you're good to go.

Thanks.A stabilizer is in order. From what I have read about the bst wheels on other bikes they have caused some head shake and I think It may be the fact that they are so light without the gyro affect but who knows.

I've got BST wheels and had no problems out of them. I drag race, landspeed race and ride it on the street and never had any problems. If your bike has a headshake, it is probably due to not having a dampner. I have a dampner and mine does not shake at all.
