s-meg insert

A few years ago, Brock had an insert for the s-meg that made the exhaust alot quieter for when you're riding a long distance. Remember it costing like $99 on his website, but now I can't find it on there. Has it been discontinued?

There was a heated discussion about this awhile back. I think you have to spend several hundred dollars and purchase another back half for your headers. the "Man" has to feed his kids :-) I could me mistaken might have been the AH, I am sure this topic will get a few answers. :-) Hey he has Great Customer Service j/k.

That was for the alien head. The smeg has a removeable core, plus there is a quite insert that you can buy... or at least you used to be able to buy. I don't know if you can buy them anymore or not....

I have one for my Smeg - but its not quite the result i was expecting, it does work fairly effectively at low revs with "little" throttle application but all in all only about 10db reduction - when you're on the gas, doesnt do much for quieting these loud brutes down - Brock has 2 variations available - one for long and one for short - believe they're 2" and 2.5" diameter - if you're really wanting to shut her up, best bet is to buy one of his canisters in place of your meg.
