Are you running in jeans at that speed or are my eyes getting bad.....
Yeah seriously spend a couple hundred bucks and get some leathers. A couple hundred bucks or about 20 grand in skin grafts. Seems like a pretty easy decision to me. Everyone goes down eventually.

I'm lookin' at your avatar.

That's not jeans you're wearing, is it?

I agree 100% with you.
I was just messin' witja.

I do think that we have a much greater chance of going down on the street, than at the drag strip (no statistics to support this, just knowing my experience and those around me).

So, IMHO, ATGATT (all the gear all the time) is more important on the street than on the drag strip.

That said, I DID go down at Ennis about 5 years ago at triple digits after hitting a slick spot on the track. I had full gear (including zipping the pants to the jacket, a step that too many people skip). I ended up with only a separated shoulder and a bruised ankle, so the gear worked. The mental healing took longer than the physical healing.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
