Patrick did you install the resisters that came with the taillight? If so where did you mount them, since the instructions say not to mount them to plastic or bidywork as they will melt things. Thanks Peyton

No, Since our bikes came with LED's you do not need the resisters. You only need to install the resisters if you go with the Backdraft LED turn signal set up. As long as you stay Incandescent turn signal bulbs than you are good to go with out using the resisters.

Just a heads up as well... If you are going to hook up the integrated part of the tail light it is easier if you tap into the positive wire on the bikes portion of the wire. and not on the pig tail portion of the turn signal. I only say this because if you go to remove the turn signal housing you can take it out by its self with out cutting any wires. If you tap into it after the pig tail going to the turn signal you will have a more difficult time removing parts.

I only realized this after i had started to hooking things up. so i figured i would try to help someone not make my mistake. hehehe

So I'll post a pic of his bike with the clear alternatives, smoke lens. I believe that the rear taillight is included but maybe he can confirm if he has time. Congrats Peyton and Renea!!!!!!!!
