MY QUESTION
"1st what has the bmw 1000rr won ..anything"

Oh...just every literbike shootout in 2010 along with 2010 Motorcycle of the Year Award. Not to mention the fact that it is the quickest production motorcycle ever released to the public with 1/4 mile ETs in the 9.50 range. Other than that and the fact that it captured a huge market share in the first 6 months of release it is a total flop..

I LEARNT THAT THE BMW IS THE QUICKEST BIKE EVER PRODUCED today

Yeah BMW might beat me of the jump, but there's no way in hell it's going to get me in the big end, because on the street the race isn't over till we get off the gas. "in a good road out in the country of corse" lol

All I can say is I've watched quite a few youtube vids of the BMW in action on the street against other bikes of all different kinds, and in a straight line run that little sonofabitch is fast.

Read this litre bike test.

They're all good - but it turns out that in the real world the BMW is not the best bike after all.

If I wanted a scapel I would have bought one, I prefer my sledgehammer. The 14 is a real world bike that is rider friendly with something all the liter bikes lack in my opinion, erganomics that are confortable. Just my 02 worth.

It's a track bike and supposedly it's good at that and not much else. After reading that review BobC linked it looks like the cbr1000 is the best all around bike with the best usable power. The BMW just has a sick amount of hp on the top. Probably a great bike for LSR and 60mph roll ons. Can't really be compared to a 14 or Busa and I don't see why so many compare them.

Meh, who cares. Id take my ZX over a cock eyed bimmer any day, its just much more comfortable to ride the ZX. Maybe i am getting old, but the supersports dont interest me as much as they once did when i first got into motorcycling.

Usually winning something is more about how much the factory is willing to spend on winning. Want to win at drag racing? Hire Ricky Gadson. Motogp? Valentino Rossi.

First off I don't want one, I'm quite happy with my 14. I was just telling what I've seen on the net. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings You really are a fanboy lol. I guess your name kinda gives it away That BMW is so small and fast I bet I could ghost ride it right up your ass though
