I noticed the other day that they look very similar. I saw a guy riding a 12r and noticed the mirrors.

If they're so bad ass, I wonder why they are so rare at the drag strip. You would almost think that they aren't capable of putting down good times.

BTW, looks are subjective. I would rather have a gen1 busa than a 12r and the busa looks like a whale penis. I always thought that the 12 looked cheap. I also think that in the next couple of years the zx14 is going to be laying down the law in LSR. Especially now that Sal and Jim are taking the time to work on them.

Oh yeah... I forgot to ask you. What kind of N/A and Nitrous times are you putting down in the 1/8th and 1/4 mile? Or do you just like to tuck and hold on since you can't launch a bike? I always see you calling people out in LSR, but never at the dragstrip where it's more of a rider's race.

The downfall of the 12 was the clutch...Too high in the engine case which caused the plates to run dry & diameter is a little too small...

The 12s sure back half like a MoFo though !!!

Yep thats why the busa kicked the 12r's ass all those years with less hp. More torque and a better front half....poor 12 lol.

----You fool. Drag racing is not the be all end all in comparing bikes.

----Hey, if 48 headlights is your thing then more power to you bro. As for the next couple of years the 14 laying down the law you don't know jack shit about LSR. The 14 is 2 ccs over the class displacement limit the 12 and busas run in. You're forced to spend big money to be competitive. Last I checked 12s do ok in the 1350 class.

Oh yeah... I forgot to ask you. What kind of N/A and Nitrous times are you putting down in the 1/8th and 1/4 mile?

----You can ask me anything you like, I don't need to hide nothing. Best I've gone was 9.4s and I've run that on motor too. My bike is really light up front (carbon wheel, race upper, single brake) so its a bear to launch. I've cut some 1.60s before on a stock arm so that ain't too bad last I checked. Do I think I could get the bike into low 9s with setup time and practice? Sure, but my gig is LSR now.

Or do you just like to tuck and hold on since you can't launch a bike?

----Can't launch a bike? Mofo put us on the same bike and I'd drag you silly. You're stupid enough to think LSR is just about tucking and holding on? Well hey, why not come out and do it? I've run the strip and lsr...you done both or just talk shit on the board?

I always see you calling people out in LSR, but never at the dragstrip where it's more of a rider's race.

-----Again, you're dumb. An LSR bike and a drag bike are 2 totally different animals. Both of my race bikes are LSR bikes. AGAIN I'VE DONE LSR AND THE STRIP....HOW ABOUT YOU? Tick tock....don't take too long now keyboard racer. I also play on the streets if you think you got the balls.

I'm still not impressed. In my mind until you prove your worth on the drag strip, you're just another fly weight trying to sucker people into top speed runs. I've been there and done that. When you can put down low 1.5's at stock wheelbase call me lol. You can turn a drag racer into an LSR racer... it's a lot harder to turn the tables and convert an LSR racer into a drag racer though. Put us on the same bike same day at the same track and I'll lay down faster numbers than you all day long even with me being 175 lbs. But I'm a drag racer. LSR is your game and you're the right size to be good at it. That's about all you have going for you.

----Really? You've been there and done that eh? Got proof? Or just another mouthy internet poser?

When you can put down low 1.5's at stock wheelbase call me lol. You can turn a drag racer into an LSR racer... it's a lot harder to turn the tables and convert an LSR racer into a drag racer though.

----Your ignorance speaks volumes. To throw out generalizations like that only prove you are clueless when it comes to top end. If you really had "been there and done that" you wouldn't throw out blanket statements like that.

Put us on the same bike same day at the same track and I'll lay down faster numbers than you all day long even with me being 175 lbs. But I'm a drag racer. LSR is your game and you're the right size to be good at it. That's about all you have going for you.

----The more you talk the dumber you're making yourself look. You say I'm about the right size to be good at LSR? But not at the STRIP?!?! Dumbass if we only went by physique I'd be better suited for the STRIP. Size matters at LSR but it matters more at the strip. News flash: The smaller guy doesn't always have the best aeros. Often, but not always.

AGAIN PLEASE SHOW ME HOW YOU'VE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT! What have you done in terms of LSR? And....got PROOF?

I'd bet money that is not an accurate statement.

Anyway, glossy mirrors rock!
