Progressive Box Question

Has anybody wired up a progressive box and used the TPS as the WOT switch? I ordered a micro switch but my NOS mini has the capability of hooking right into the TPS. What are the pros and cons? I think that the micro switch will be easier to hook up but the TPS makes sense too. Which is best?

I can't speak for the nos mini, but my buddy has the new dyno tune one and his goes thru the tps and works flawless. pros to me are no micro switch to mount.

The Nos Mini works off output voltage from tps switch to ECU, I believe the voltage setting in Nos Mini will be 3.9 volts which indicates full throttle opening on a ZX14. You can also change the voltage setting to a lower voltage setting to bring in nitrous before full throttle. Also talk with Dan about killing fuel injectors vice killing ignition coils during shift changes. Kiling fuel injectors vice coils greatly reduces back fire effect between shifts, NA backing ok. NOX back fire increases valve shim becoming dislogde and engine damage. If you going will a single fogger in air box give Chris Williams a call, he has a sweet set up.The yellow/white wire is the voltage wire at TPS to tap into. Also make sure you set Mini Ramp Pause Mode to P.01 if set to P.00 on each gear change it will start nos progression from the beginnig. P.01 will resume NOS from time of interuption.

LeonidasZX14, I was told that the nos mini window switch is unreliable; so i wired in a normaly closed relay to the power commander hub's out put (triggered @50rpm after my shift point) to break the connection between nos mini and the tps. I did it so I would not spray into the limiter if I missed a gear.

"""Besides, I can't let Ellis and his Busa beat up on me"" Ellis had the misfortune of going down last nite @ Speed World , injuries to him are road rash to hands, overall Ellis is doing fine ,as for bike , heavy road rash to plastic on right side. No noticable case damage. Are you going to use spray bar, spyder or single nozzle? VP import fuel has given very safe results with nos..

I am using the dynotune kit which has a nozzle in each air duct. I was actually very suprised at the quality of the DynoTune kit. I spent half the money and got twice as much.
