No you cant!! You can mount it but the height is gonna be way too high cause is gonna raise it up about 3in from your lowest point!! If you are over 220Lbs I would use the busa spring but not the shock! But like eklipse said why put a busa shock when you can always revalve yours.

BMC Racing
Hi there guys, this is Lonny from BMC Racing. I am working on a web-site right now. It will be bmcracetech.com It should be up in a couple of weeks. I list all of my phone numbers and my e-mail on my e-bay ads but here they are.
Shop (626) 443-8825
Fax (626) 443-8833
Cell (626) 327-8556
I make my own internals for these shocks. I do NOT buy the Racetech p.o.s gold valve. I modify and machine the stock valve and make it do what I want. I can set them up for Road, Street, Drag or any other type of riding you need. I am an Eibach spring dealer but usually do not recommend changing the spring right up front like every other shop. I want the spring to hold the bike at the correct ride height and that is it. I use the shock to control everything else. In some cases it is necessary to change the spring but I do it as a last resort unless the bike is over 70 inches or the rider s over 250
Any questions please contact me

The price on the shocks IS $199.95. I occasionally accept offers on e-bay of less than that depending on how busy I am at the time. The minimum I do is $150.00 and that is with the promise that the person will advertise for me (if they are happy) and try to send at least 1 new customer to me. My goal is to get a ton of units out there so i can create a name for myself and I would rather sell 200 of them for a dollar each than 1 at $200.00. I get better breaks on parts and supplies based on volume.
I believe eklipse636 did the best 60 foot of his life the night he put the shock on. His best before was in the 1.42's and I believe he told me it went a 1.32 or 1.34 on a crappy track. That is a serious difference. We need to fine tune it some more to get it perfect after the 60 foot clocks, but I am WAAAAY happy so far.

Just talked to him from the track. Best 60 foot time to date right out of the box, but the tire is hitting the rear under tail. I am working with him on tuning over the phone and once we get it to stop rubbing.....look out

My best 60ft ever was a 1.354 and 2nd pass last weekend it did a 1.351, so my 60 ft has got better, like Lonnie said we have some more tuning to do. Sorry for the delay on posting results, been swamped at work. So far I like the shock, I just got to stop it from wheelying. I was very comfortable riding it as it was setup before, and now it leaves completely different.
First time at the track with it I was in a 5.95 class so I didn't get many full passes in. That track is hard to compare times because it's never consistant.
On the full passes it ran 5.78-5.83 with it being hard to keep the front tire down. I was also running my air filter and the bike was tuned without it. I don't know how much of a difference that makes.
Mph'd 120 with a few 121's. I don't know how much would pick up if I took the filter out. Next Friday night will be the next test and tune and it's at the good 1/4 mile track in valdosta. I will post better results then.

It depends how lean the bike is to begin with. The air filter slows my bike down a bunch, but mine is on the rich side without it so it hurts it a bunch. I am sure we can fix the wheelie problem, we may need to add a little pressure to nitrogen bag to slow the compression down a hair.

Is it at South Georgia Motorsports Park? Its actually in a different city right? Not actually Valdosta. If so I was there when I worked for a Top Alcohol Funny Car team and the track is bitchen

The track
It is in Cecil Georgia right? 1320 feet of concrete, does'nt get any better than that. We race on dirty nasty tracks out here. The only decent track is Pomona and they only run it twice a year. The others are at least 3 to 400 miles away. That's why we can't hang with the back east guys. My best time with a 185 lb rider and a 499 lb ZX14 at 64 inches with a Gen 2 slider clutch and a stock motor is 9.09 at 153. I think you are way heavier than my jockey and you are way faster. I will get you going even better or I will re-do that shock as many times as it takes for free.

At the time I was in Albany ga, shifty 1/8 mile track. They have a few lights going down the track and is hard to see.
Everyone says the track is in Valdosta, but it's actually 10-12 miles north of Valdosta in Cecil.
I haven't had time to take it off, but I'm hoping to get more nitrogen in it before Friday.

I was only able to make 4 passes last night 2 on motor 2 on spray. So far i've seen about .02-.04 consistant gains in the 60', but the 330s have picked up nicely. I just have to get a ticket to compare the exact numbers.
