BMC Racing Development revalved shocks

Has anyone over on the west coast heard of this place? He has a ad on eBay for revalving shocks. It's $100 less than Adams, but I understand sometimes less isn't always better. If anyone has had any dealings with this company post about your experience.

He was on Psychobike about a year or 2 ago advertising his service. Adams price is a little high. I sent my mono shock to Traxxion and got it fully redone with a new spring for less than Adams price.

That's just a revalve. They are most likely getting the valves from the same place unless they are equipted to make their own.

I'm sending the shock off tomorrow. He seems to know what he's talking about. I will keep you guys posted. Turnaround time should be around 8 days since it takes 3 days shipping one way.

Dusty is this revalve just a drag only thing or is he offering to do it for street bikes as well?

The way he talks he revalves it to your specification. Every application is different. Street, road racing, and drag racing.

Has he got a website to look at? I am bottoming out and rubbing the fender while cornering hard two-up in the twistys, and want a better fix than just a booza spring myself. The Scnitz price seems way high for a little mod.

I asked him why he sold them so cheap, and what he done different than Adams. He said he dosent have the overhead that they do and he wants to get some shocks out there.

also adams doesnt do them in house, they are done by Litz Racing. So add that into the cost too.

I am very interested in this as well. Looks like his price is now 199. I'll offer 150. Does this include a spring?

I didn't get it for 150 either... No it dosent include a spring. Adams is $400 with a spring. I haven't posted results because I haven't made it to the track yet. When I get home from work I will tell what I think about it so far.

I paid $350 to Traxxion last year to redo my rear shock. Full rebuild and revalve, new 1k lb spring, spacer, & Torrington bearing kit. The bearing kit is just a flat washer like bearing that makes adjusting the spring easy as butter.
