tranny help input
i'm building a motor mix match from a zx14 to a zg1400 concours. like to hear some input .
gtr1400 concours zx14
1st 3.333 50/15 1st 2.625 42/16
2nd 2.415 41/17 2nd 1.947 37/19
3rd 1,900 38/20 3rd 1.545 34/22
4th 1.545 34/22 4th 1.333 32/24
5th 1.292 31/24 5th 1.154 30/26
6th 1.074 29/27 6th 1.036 29/28
i really don't know which way to go on the tranny. easier just to us a zx14 transmission
but i'm going to use the connie pistons

NO !!! its a spare ..but what i did find is the input shaft is a 1/2 inch longer than a zx14 shaft ..and if you use the connie basket it everything will work . but trying to fit a zx14 basket on won't work unless you machine the splines back and rethread the end of the shaft
