I would definitely say that this thread was written with the intent of trolling. Anyone who has been in the game for as long as smokes has should know what kind of race that would be. If I owned the zx10 and we were on the drag strip, I wouldn't have a prolem giving him the hit, and the rear tire. hell, I would give a stock busa a full length in between on my 63" zx14 in an 1/8th and not be worried about it.

The hit in the 1/8th is a MF, lets say:
busa gets 153 sixty foot
zx10 gets 147 sixty foot
That zx10 would be in a world of hurt if the gas does not come on strong.

his best 60 ever is a 1.47 and he is inconstant, im betting on him fucking up somewhere. and its only a 40 dollar hit and we are friends.

the bad thing is i dont have any real seat time on this bike, and i wish i had some gear in it, i ordered it but lets see if it shows up in time

Yep, and I also turn well over a half second faster than you will turn on your stock busa too. All I do is 1/8th mile race, and it is generally a riders race. I've seen first hand what happens to a stock bike running against a built bike when I was the stock bike. I was putting down mid low 1.5's on my stock wheelbase stock piped zx14 and dustin vegedes used to spot me damn near a half second and would blow by me like I was sitting still on the bronze star naturally aspirated zx14.
You should probably stick to high speed roll ons. I don't think 1/8th mile racing is for you. The only thing that you can hope for is that he isn't able to hear your bike since it has stock pipes on it which would give you a little more of an edge with the hit. I'm 100% certain though that I would take that race all day every day.

ZX-10R....assuming a good rider and the bike set up good...40 shot will put the 10R over 200 rear wheel hp..and far lighter to boot..then 66 " wheelbase???
