Everyone bitches about price. If you purchase the BMW equipped same as a ZX14 - its around 14K. and it makes no less pow-ah than the other beemers
But BMW doesn't bring a "budget bike" to the track

Will they discount it to $10,873.00?
That's what a 2010 ZX-14 goes for OTD here.
How about $10,848.00 for a 10-R?
Why pay $3K+ more for something "equipped the same?"
Also lots of talk about a 10% blowup rate on the BMW. What's the percentage on KAW?

I guess its like our bikes, depends on the dealers and how bad they need to sell 'em. but again they didn't build 'em to be generic budget bikes.
not that I'm saying its a great drag racer either...just sayin...

Turnout is down in PA, but still see on a typical nite 20 bikes in the bike class, and all the cars total around 150. must be the weather down there in FL??

Steve, nobody races a bone stock bike...
yeah but then you have to equip the Beemer to keep up with the 14s & Busas so ur lookin @ a Beemer1000 costing around $20,000+

Texas has one of the best economies in the country I believe that might explain their attendance. The rest of the country well keep supporting large corporations who have record profits while eliminating most of their workers. You know buy from Walmart etc. they need your money read a article about Harley doing the same thing.

exactly .. if everybody quit buying or a tariff on importing was done that makes importing unprofitable ..and cheaper to make here .. then you see hiring again .. but this global market is marketed for the rich the same people that run this country ..and the average americian is to stupid to see that .. they keep listening to the guys running the country
