WOW! GREAT run in this heat!

It was still 93 at 9:30 last night and 106 is predicted for today.

No, Louis, Lucky was not there. Lucky was hiding in the AC'd house with the ceiling fan going ................

Lucky will video the 8.8x for TNT when it cools off.

Congrats!

You got the break down of that ticket?

That bike has to be making some power in the heat to pull numbers like that!

You must have had a really good front half, I'm guessing 1.40 60' 1/8 5.69-5.75. I am surprised that you ran that number at 150mph.

Thanks guys ! That track was very hot and greasy but if you could get the groove right it was pretty good ! I had trouble wheelying so i went up to 18lbs , and strapped a little harder , and bam ,my 1st 8 second run! I ran 9.02 , 9.06 , etc. , but my best pass was 1.43 60 , 3.791 330 ,
5.768 1/8 @ 123.45 ,7.49 1000 , 8.981 1/4 @150.48 mph 87octane , and yeah Chad I was in leathers !

I though TNT was the short guy on the 09 SE. It looks like he weighs like 155lbs. Dusty said he was a heavyweight so I was not sure. Anyways, looks like that 48 tooth rear sprocket is limiting factor. If TNT is my size and has an 09 SE he should run more MPH than all of you guys by a long shot. I wonder if the gearing is the limiting factor? I mean, think about it...Serioulsly.

I would rather run a 8.90 at 150 than a 9.0 at 155

Congrats TNT.
Leonidas or anyone else, why would16/48 be the limiting factor if he is not running out of gear in 6th or wheeling to much ?

Sincerely,
BLK ICE

Wee, I am certainly not taking away from your accomplishments of running an 8.90 like 4 times. My question is you and Dusty both run the same gearing and out weigh him by 50 or more pounds he should not be running the same MPH as the two of you. Do you agree with that statement? When I look at Dustys tickets it looks like the gearing really helps on the 60ft but thats it. So is it the gearing that limits the ZX14 to those 8.90 passes? IMO I just don't think the 14 needs that much gear and your time slips prove it over and over again.
