KR Tuned exhaust

Has anyone here ever had these systems or slip-ons?? I know someone that's got a Ti-can from this company that I'm considering getting -- just don't know anything about them other than they look kind of like Yosh's cans.

I've got a Brocks SMeg system on mine now, just wantin' a different silencer to run daily -- I've got Brocks noise reduction plug in, but she still barks loud.......so, figured I'd try something other than most have and see how I like it

A friend of mine has a full KR Tuned on his R6 and it's not quiet. Why don't you get a conversion from Brock's with the short or 20" muffler so you can keep your header and mid pipe the same while having an easy chang out if you want to switch back to the smeg?

Because as loud as the Street Meg is, I'd assumed that the short meg would be louder like the alien head.........just figured that another silencer might do the trick on keeping it quieter. The noise reduction plug does help, but not as much as I'd like........gonna try the KR silencer this weekend and see how it sounds........borrowed it for the weekend so I'm out nothing if I don't dig it

I believe he meant the conversion to the Gen III can. It comes in either 14" or 20 " versions. I have a 14" on my ZRX1200 and it isn't that loud, I would assume the 20" version would be fairly quiet.

Installed the gen 3 can tonight. I love it. It looks great and is probably half as loud as my alienhead.
Still has a bad ass sound. Yes!!!!!!!

I know Brocks has conversions but I've found they're going for around $500 -- I could get this KR can at $200 with mounting.........I'll see if it will mount and how it sounds this weekend -- If it sounds good and looks good, I'm saving $300 -- if not, then I'll probably go with Brocks

I like both of them. The alienhead has a sound of it's own that I love but it was such a beating for a daily rider. The gen 3 can has a nice sound and best of all it's much quieter. Sounds more like other bikes with the gen 3 can. I think it looks great with either of them. I'd have to go with the alienhead as far as just pure kick ass sound but the can Definitely sounds great.

Helmutt I called up Brocks and got my gen3 carbon for $483 to my door. I guess they gave me a repeat customer discount. You could get just the aluminum can for much less. I don't remember exact prices on the aluminum maybe $350? Build quality on the carbon can is superb. Really impressed.

If you bought a Street Smart full system thru Brocks, you'll get a 10% discount on purchases -- what you'd paid is definitely a better price than the website shows.........we'll see how this weekend goes, i just may end up getting the Gen 3 from Brocks afterall..........this KR may sound shitty or not mount up at all.

Well it took me an additional week to try mounting this KR silencer up, too much going on at home...........but had issues with it being in a bind where it fits at the midpipe and/or where it straps up at passenger peg mount........didn't want to tamper with my Brocks header / mid and didn't want to screw his silencer up........kind of half-assed it in place to hear it run, and was quieter than my Street Meg but I'm equally partial to function AND form -- so I ditched the idea and will probably order a Brocks can eventually.........thanx for all the insight fellas
