Rods with muzzy kit
Are stock length rods used with the muzzy stroker kit? What are the options for stock bore and 5 mil crank?

Yes, stock length. You lose one ring. Muzzy doesn't even list the 1534 kit anymore.

Ok thanks. Now does anyone know about case clearance for the 5 mil crank? I've heard they need to be notched to allow the rods to clear

Carrillos fit without any case cleaance issues. You will need to grind the head of one rod bolt for clutch basket clearance with a Hays clutch and other billet baskets as well.
I'm running stock length carrillos and a +5mm stroke (66mm). The pistons are custom CP two ring piston with good 18mm pins.

jim, care to explain why you choose stock lenght over shorter rods.
What bore pistons and what hp do you expect to make?

Who is doing the block, and who is doing the crank?
very interested to see your progress and the outcome.
