Was the install on the levers a perfect fit,or did it require mods for them to fit? The reason I ask is because I'm digging that shory brake lever because I only use two fingers when braking.

No modification at all. 10 minutes per side.
Two finger braking is what I do, also. It feels perfect now.
And adjustment range is HUGE with these units.
PS
The levers come with multiple end fittings to fit a lot of different bikes.
Just screw on the one for your bike and that's it.

I'd love to have shorty's on both sides as I only 2 finger both clutch/brake.........nice add-ons

Those are nice, I wished I had the shorty levers, I got both long style but I ain't complaining as I got them for free. . What I did notice is there is slightly more freeplay before the brakes grab with these levers vss stock levers.
