wtf is wrong with this zx14?
i was at the track last night. a buddy asked me to ride his zx14. this was my result. wtf?
60ft 1.520
330 4.053
1/8 6.194
mph 113
1000 8.084
1/4 9.707
mph 137.90
the bike will not pull seems to just slow rev. any ideas? seems to get worse down track.

Need a little more info like what mods , what the rider weight ? what do you run on your zx14 ? ect ect

220lbs, 6 inches over.lowered. i run alot more mph on a stock zx14. i think the fuel pumps taking a shit.

Ok i'll have ask .... Does it have a p/c and a map ? what pipe ? If it has a P/C unplug it and see how it runs .. If it runs better you have a p/c or map problem ... I have yet to hear a about a zx14 pump going bad , seems more likely to be something that was added to the bike and not factory parts ..

Very well could be a plugged filter ... easy test remove it ...

i've taken some pumps out from hi-mileage zx14's. the pumps weren't bad but the filter sock was covered in debri of all sorts ..

yeh pc, im gonna look into that. that was the 1st thing i told him to unhook it and see how it does. ill keep you posted. i was pretty embarassed on how it ran. i geuss i was spoiled on how my bike performed weekin ,weekout.

BP fuel does burn well!! Almost as well as it dumps petrol into oceans!!

i ran 115 mph with tsukigi map and 119 with brocks map. you could have lost your pc map if you got an aftermarket exhaust
