Hit the 5's tonight!! WHOOO
Finally...after i got some seat time on this thing (4 track days) i was able to finally break into the 5s.
First pass of the night right off the trailer. Figured what the hell, the first pass usually sucks. Forgot to strap it down too!

1.5733 sixty foot
4.1122 330ft
5.8053 @ 594 feet
6.1873---1/8th ET
117.81 mph
2nd pass was the holy grail!

1.46----60ft
3.9319---330ft
5.6151---ET@ 594 ft
5.9951---1/8 ET
118.43 mph
best 60 ft time of the night was a 1.44 and best ET was 5.94 @ 119. I also noticed that during alot of my 118mph passes i did NOT turn my shift light on at all which was set at 10,5. the one pass i let 3rd gear go to redline i ran 1mph faster!! This baby has more in it. We will see what happens with the new gearing.
Oh forgot to mention i was whoopin up on a 1397cc busa as well :-)

How can you do that? Doesn't the rev limiter come on at 11,000?

I think smokin means 11200 on the tach...which is about 10700-10800 actual with a shift light. The stock tach reads a bit higher than actual.
Using shift light, I set it at 10600.

11200 on the tach reading ... Real life it's around 10600 but the tach will read 11200 ..
