i say track prep but that 2 tracks in a row for me .. several other zx14 mis-shift also ..just not as much as i did but they weren't 800lbs and 300hp either .. but i saw dragbikes go right on down the track with 7 second passes and 10.0 bikes mis-shiftinhg .. go figure

I have missed a few shifts on my zx14 ..Once or twice it hit the turn signal switch and not the horn switch ..A few times i forgot to flip the switch from horn to the air shifter .. Why is that guy honking his horn going down the track ? lol ... Other than that i have had 4000+ passes and never missed a shift ..

I'd really have see your bike run to tell me what is going on with your shift problem ..Have you tried more kill time , What psi are you using ? Have you checked your ram for binding ? are you killing spark or fuel ?

smoking my mps shift box with kill works flawless . MAX KILL TIME ... it shifts but just don't go into gear .. at that track i shifted better on the return road than on the track .. but i ease the throttle into 10k rpm on the return road .. and yes i'm short shifting also

also when i got back to the truck i could see the tire had roll rubber on it after a pass .. so i know it was spinning and unloading the tranny and missing the shift .. put your bike on a stand and run it to 10k rpm and try shifting and see what happens .. and that be what mines doing

OK i have seen a few People have problems with the MPS boxes ... I have had a problems with MPS kill boxes.. It's not really the box but the way the box works ..When i had my Muzzy dig-a-kill i got lazy and only had to blip the horn button to shift , when i switched to the MPS kill i could not just blip or quick thumb the horn button ...I have to really press the horn button hard and HOLD it for a second or it would miss shift ...The MPS triggers the air solenoid were as the Muzzy triggered the Dig_a_kill and it triggered the air solenoid .. If you don't press hard and hold the horn button with the MPS kill box it will NOT complete the shift ... You can test this for your self like it did .. with Muzzys i could press the button and the shifter would complete the shift and release the ram all on it's own .. The mps Box will not .... As long as you hold the button the ram will stay engaged and will not release till you let off ... If you just quickly blip the button you can watch it NOT get to fully engaged ..The muzzy is time engaged by the dig-a-akill , the MPS is timed by how long YOU hold the button ..

ask LeonidasZX14 .. He had his MPS auto shift when he came down to BMP
... He missed 2 gear every time he ran ... He took out the MPS auto shift pill and used his horn button and never missed a shift after that ...
you are not the first to have problems with the MPS auto shift and you will not be the last either ..
