yeap ..i couldn't hook and make the 1st to 2nd shift ..
i did what i had to do
the bike didn't
so i went and purchased a turbo busa today .. the kawi crying now cause it has to share shop space.. if it don't shut-up i'm going to put it to pasture with a bullet

Actually a bad transmission design.If you ever saw a 14 transmission you would understand.It only has 5 dogs on the 1st to 2nd gear set.Therefore you cannot remove every other dog to enlarge the engagement window.When they spin they wont shift otherwise

YEAH i wonder what the vmax problem is since none in histroy have eever won anything .. but even with a mis-shift no vmax is gonna out run me ..

that's funny, on the VMax site you guys beat a Gixxer 1000 or a ZX14 that runs a 10.90 and you claim victory over the bike. go figure.

So you spun in first gear and it didn't shift into second gear ? I see Busas and Gixxers do that all the time also .. So i have to ask ? You blew the tire off so the race was pretty much over at that point ..So why even try to stuff it into second gear ?

I'd be happy to help you out if it were not 1100 miles away .. There was to be something wrong because zx14s don't miss shift without something being very wrong ..
