well ladies, im gonna switch to the dark side!!!
yep im getting a gen2 ive been wanting a bike i could ride ANYWHERE and i think i messed up the 1st time around i should have done a turbo busa build and gotten a 14 as a "street bike" but i did it backwards lol
well anyways its a 08 orange and black with 900 miles on it and the guy is asking 7k for it. I should have it by Thursday if i can get off of work early enough to go pick it up

If I was going to get one, it'd be that color. Decent price for that mileage.

yes sir the zx14 is not a great turbo platform. there just so much more for the busa out there and so much more you can do to the engine.
but your srill doing it wrong .. purchase a turbo busa all put together ..cheaper
i'm about ready myself to follow that advice just waiting 4 the right bike

Wait a minute.......I thought this was the dark side?!?! Either way, Busa or 14 - both good rides and best bang for the buck IMO.......and a good deal on the gen2 man!!

Oh no the turbo 14 is not going anywhere, I wanted to sell it but its just to fun to ride and now that I'm getting another motor bike ill always have something to ride if it does pop

Oh no man this booza will not be getting turboed, if I do anything to it it will get head cams and a big bore and a small shot I wanrt a bike I could ride where ever I want and not have to worry about anything breaking

I don't believe I've ever heard of a reliable bigbore nitrous motor with big cams.

You know busas gen 1 or gen 2 with turbos blow up all the time too ..I know pleanty of them that are on their 3rd and 4th motors ... If you run them hard they will pop just like any other turbo bike .. It may be cheaper to fix when it does pop but they still pop ..

Smokin I will keep you informed on a gen 2 busa my buddy is building right now. he had the motor done with all the goodies and is shooting for 400 hp all controlled thry the ecu boost and all. he plans on running it alot And I'm real interested to see how long it last. he's taking to Ryan schnitz to be tuned after we get the kit installed. his kit should be here next week.

oh ya anything will blow up with enough power, but i feel the booza is a better platform for big mods like turbo or motor builds and what not over the 14, the 14 is a better street bike than the booza i think thats why i would rather have the booza as a turbo bike and the 14 as a street bike but i guess ill have to have the booza as my street bike and the 14 more for the race/track bike

I'd put about 4 grand into a big bore motor for the 14 and called it a day. That's just me though. Too much upkeep having more than one.
