Muzzy cams
A friend I ride with was wanting to get the muzzy cams for his 14. He wanted me to ask if it's still ok to street ride everyday and is there a better alternative as far as cams go. Thanks again

for the price of those billit cams, I would get Jim to do the head first.

as far as cams go they make little difference without a good port and polish.... lots of people just degree their stock cams

I had to get into my bottle of anti-sidesplittin pills after reading that. 
Did you just pull that out of your hat?
Those cams make a huge difference.
Those cams are intended for engines with more squeeze and or larger displacement.

To Answer the original question; I had to stop laughing first, yes there are alternative Camshafts that are better for street use on a relatively stock bike. Have your bud talk to Sal at Ace Performance or Jim at Competition CNC.

Ok thanks alot. So basically adding cams to a bolt on bike: full m10 exhaust, pc3, flies out, bike would yield little gains!? Port n polish would be better?

I did not say that. What I said was that the the muzzy cams are to big for a stock engine, stock compression motor. You will lose a bunch on the bottom and midrange.
What Dubious said was that for the money the Muzzy cams cost, you'd be better to do the head. And he's right.
The Muzzy cams are for a race bike, mid range and top end.
You can get a good pair of cams for around 700 bucks, but regardless of whos cam you use, you still really need to do springs and while you're at it, probly clip the head a bit.
Talk to Sal or Jim and they can help you get setup with the proper cams for the bike.

what I was saying is for a stock motor they are not recommended just have yours degreed, without a built motor there is no reason to run such an aggressive cam stop trying to flog ppl and put a little thought into it, now if I said they would give you 50 hp increase then bitch
on a side note I remember a little while ago someone was trying to use 12r cams in their 14... not sure how it all made out, I thihnk it was on psychobike

adams uses stock cams in their race 14s. what does that tell you? have the head ported and polished shave it a little or run a thin head gasket and be done

Does anyone know the specs on the Muzzy cams? Weld-ups are $1050...so the price for billets isn't too bad.
Regarding the Adams Performance bikes...they are also spraying them, right?

I'm just sayin, on the muzzy site is says improved upper and midrange. It does not state that they are ONLY for modified engines. It says a must for modified pistons. Not that they can't be used. It's not for me I'm happy with mines. A friend just wanted to know if it was still ok to street ride everyday. That's all.
