Ya any bike I have I can dyno 4 miles from my house then drive 49 miles to another dyno and it will read 186 on one dyno and 202 on the other one same day just an 1hr apart. I've actually done it.

It's all about the air conditions at each dyno. Propper air flow can change your dyno #'s drasticly. The dyno we own read 10hp higher at the shop we bought it from. There it was set in a spot that it had a constant natural breeze blowing on the front of it which took all exhaust gases out and away.

I don't know, Wee. A local dyno showed 170 SAE for the BMW, bone stock. About 5-8 more hp than the other's.

There is always going to be a variance from motor to motor as well. Sticks has a happy motor and has always dynoed about 5 more hp then me. You could say that was due to different exhausts or whatever, but he also dynoed 5 more hp then zx14ofdoom who had the exhaust same mods. I've heard zx14 motors can very 5 hp or more from various tuners.

Well, in all fairness, the 170 was stock. Maybe a pipe and good gas are worth 37 hp on the BMW.

While I do not go the track , seemed my 1000 (1070) always ran faster when racing the same person while making lower numbers at the same dyno

I was a dyno junkie, change oil types do a dyno run, some whiz bang chain lube do dyno run, change chains -do a dyno run, change spark plugs -do a dyno run and repeat

167-183, 183 being in cool, dry air but consistently between 167-178 always ran strongest on teh lowest number-two different shops used.

The dyno runs were spaced a week or two apart in similar conditions

Which for Florida this means usually about 3 months of .... man this is a fricking paradise , I love Florida, get to ride while others are digging out of snow
.......than comes May onwords to what is it now, fricking hot and humid why in fuck did I ever move here? than these little skeeters, snakes and alligators and big fucking spiders and the traffic oh i'm getting off track a bit

Rick
